Life's journey.
Life is not gentle - far from it. From time to time, it will hand you disappointment, grief, loss, a formidable difficulty, often when least expected. But never forget you can surmount the worst it brings, keep on going, and make your way up again. You will find that you are stronger and maybe better off for having had some bad experience. No matter what has happened to a person, that individual still has within vast undamaged areas. Nature always tries to repair, so don't be discouraged when you suffer a blow - Norman Vincent Peale

You'll always rise in life to the level of responsibility that you're willing to accept - Ralph Waldo Emerson

The highest reward for man's toil is not what he gets for it but what he becomes of it - John Ruskin

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference - St Francis of Assisi

Anyone can be angry, that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, at the right time, for the right reason, to the right degree, in the right way, this is not easy - Aristotle

This is what happiness is about
Saturday I met up with him after 2 whole months. It feels so good to be back with him once more.. ^^

On Sunday, I slept in late and woke up just in time to go over my cousin's place for the wedding lunch, also the wedding ceremony, as I just found out on that day. This is actually the first time I witnessed a wedding ceremony live. My cousin(the bride) looked gorgeous with all the make-up and stuff. She's like 31 but totally doesn't look like it. Oh well, she's got a good life ahead of her, already an accountant easily earning 8000 plus dollars a month. How I wish I could earn that kind of money, then I wouldn't have to worry about overspending and not saving enough.

That night, we went over to Amara hotel over at Tanjong Pagar for the wedding dinner. We reached slighty early and took a couple of pictures with the bride. Might post the pics up if I do get them. Then got seated in the ballroom, in the meantime waiting for dinner to be served. And after waiting impatiently for the food for what seemed like ages, it finally came and guessed what? Their food was terrible!!! and what's more, their service was horrendous too!!! The waitresses there refilled our glasses like after every other mouthful we took and that really got on my nerves as they did not have any skill at pouring drinks at all. They drip water the whole time. The clearing of the plates was equally horrible, with them being clumsy and all, spilling food here and there. Half the time I was worried the waitress making her way through the narrow ballroom to the kitchen, with the huge plate of utensils upon her shoulder would send the plate crashing down on us. It's like my goodness, what horrible service for a hotel. If given a choice, I will never eat there again. The only good point about this hotel is that they've got really nice toilets. Go check it out if you do get the chance! It's like so state of the art.

Okies then comes Monday, but no Monday blues for me. I was anticipating for it to come. Afterall, it's my first day at work at a new place. I went too early apparently, or rather the adminstator came in late. But anyways, the first day was kind of a dizzy mess for me because I was unfamiliar with many things and it took me a day before I got used to things. However lucky for me, I sorted things out and am really comfortable with my job right now. Met him for dinner after work. Thanks baby! You really made my day. I was so stressed up and all and then you came and then all my troubles just disappeared. Went to relax over at Singapore River after that. It was really romantic :)

Caught "The Guardian" on Tuesday. It's a really good show so do catch it. It teaches people the meaning of sacrifice, about knowing your limits yet going all out to help others.

Okies and blah blah blah, yadda yadda.. too lazy to type out every single detail so that's all! Byes ;)
