I've shifted (again!)
Well it has been 2 weeks since I shifted into my new office at One Raffles Quay, the newly constructed glass building. In case you guys are wondering where this place is, it is actually walking distance from Lau Pa Sa.

The security at this new building is extremely stringent. They have 2 to 3 security guards patrolling the lobby area at any one time. Well, the south tower holds 2 banks so I guess thats why. And on top of that, anywhere else you wander to in this building, you have to scan your access pass, and that includes the lifts, the office ,the pantry and even the toilets(which is weird since the toilets are located in the office itself, and not like those outside whereby you can access from the lifts.

Haha, but I like this new office better because of it's facilities. The pantry is much better eqipped than my previous office and oh, yes yes they have this canned drink vending machine whereby you have to scan your card(again) before you can get anything out of it.

The only down side about this place is that I really really don't like the open concept. I don't like people to stare at me while i'm minding my own business and trying to complete my own work. I've never like people to stare at me since young. Can't people just mind their own freaking business? I feel like bashing that particular person whenever they do that. Some may consider this as gangster behaviour, but i've never been violent since young so i guess that doesn't really stand huh?

Otherwise, that's all about my new office and i'm seriously trying to get used to the open concept.
